Department of School Education, Government of Telangana has released the notification for TG TET 2026. This exam is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for teaching posts in primary (Class 1 to 5) and upper primary (Class 6 to 8) schools. The online application process will start from 15 April 2026 and continue till 30 April 2026. The examination will be held between 15 June to 30 June 2026.
Candidates must have passed 10+2 with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved category) along with D.El.Ed / B.El.Ed / Diploma in Special Education.
Candidates must have a graduation degree with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved category) along with B.Ed / B.A.B.Ed / B.Sc.B.Ed or equivalent qualification.
Minimum age is 18 years. There is no upper age limit as per previous norms.
Paper I includes Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics and Environmental Studies. Paper II includes Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I, Language II and Mathematics & Science or Social Studies.
Admit card will be released before the exam on the official website.
Result will be declared online after the examination.
TG TET certificate has lifetime validity for teaching eligibility.
